I know, I know...

I haven't posted in a while. I've been too busy not sleeping! Fiona has not been a good sleeper these 7 months. And since I wasnt sleeping well the last trimester of pregnancy as well, that makes about 10 months of really poor sleep for me! We went to the doctor and we have been working on getting her into a better routine. The last 3 nights have been great! I just hope it can last. She is such a cute and adorable baby. Poor thing is desperate to crawl, but just can't figure it out yet. She gets into the push-up position and then is like... what the heck now? I don't think it will be long before she is on her way. She mostly slithers backward right now, but not on purpose! It's so frustrating for her!

She got weighed and measured a week ago... here are her stats:

weight - 18lb11oz (80th %ile)

length - 25.7 inches (20th %ile)

She's otherwise doing really well and started babbling about a week ago. She doesn't really say mama, but does say something that sounds like dadada... she's working on it. And she is just tickled pink when we get so happy that she is talking to us! Here is a picture of her from last night... She tried to eat some steamed broccoli (i didnt puree it)... it was difficult for her to get it to her mouth... she made a mess, but liked the challenge!

Connor has been growing up so quickly that it is starting to make me a little sad. He goes to school 5 days a week, now. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, he still goes in the afternoons (12:15-2:45), but on Tuesday and Thursday he goes all day (9-2:45) and eats his lunch there. The first week he didnt really like it, but after that, he has really enjoyed having his lunch at school and even eats it all most days! This past week he had his Little Gym show week.

Since he turned 3, he can go to class by himself without me. This past week was the end of the 'semester' so the parents and siblings could come in to watch the kids do their routines... He was so proud of himself!

Update: I should have mentioned, that Connor got weighed and measured at his 3 year appointment too. He is 32.2 pounds (52nd %ile) and 3 ft 1.8 inches (49th %ile). So he's right in the middle for both (though I think he looks a little thin!). He really looks like a little boy and not a toddler any more! All of the baby fat is gone (except a little on the cheeks). Its a bit sad :(
