Holiday Dance - Fiona

Just wanted to post a few pictures of Fiona from her Holiday Dance at Boni's a few weeks ago.  Daddy was in Nigeria that week so didn't get to come, but she did a wonderful job.  I'm posting these now and then I'll post some Christmas pictures soon :)  Connor also had a wonderful music concert that his music class gave to some seniors at a local retirement home.  I have one video from that, but I have to figure out how to get it off of my phone and post it :)  More to come later this week.  Uncle Benny is visiting and we are having a great time.  Going to ride our bikes down to Market Street now :)

Turkey Dance :)

Oh Daddy, will you never learn not to turn the camera sideways when taking video on it?  Just kidding!  She's still cute sideways :)  Fiona had her 'Turkey Dance' at ballet class today.  She was so adorable!  Mommy, Daddy, and Connor all watched.  How cute!

Our trip to Cancun

We had a fantastic trip to Cancun, Mexico last week! Next time we definitely need to bring Grandma or Auntie Kylie to help with the kids :) We swam with dolphins, released baby turtles, and spent a lot of time on the beach and at the pool. There were not too many people there. I guess that was because kids are in school. But it seemed like the perfect time for us!

Family Photo Album

This is for Connor for school. I used the 'collage' tool in Picasa. They said to put some pictures of family and pets and they are making a photo book for the kids of each family so the kids in his class can look at it. Did I go overboard? My apologies to those family members who were left out. I just couldn't fit everyone in!!!

San Antonio and Seaworld with Grandma and Grandpa

Spent the long weekend in San Antonio with Grandma Sarah and Grandpa Tony (they've been here for 2 weeks and are here until Tuesday). David left on Memorial Day for Nigeria. So far he's okay. He calls once a day. We had a good time at Seaworld but it was HOT! Oh my was it hot. We were there for 8 hours! Wow, that place is tiring. Running from show to show to make sure you get a seat. Of course it was packed because of the holiday. But the kids loved it. Here are some pics...

Spring in The Woodlands, Texas

We have had a fun couple of months back here in the States. But I have to say, we are all so ready to get into our house this week! We close on Thursday and the movers come on Friday!! Grandma and Grandpa Blackman arrive Tuesday night to help with the kids during the close/move! Yay! We are all so excited. I will be happy to leave this furnished apartment forever :) I've had enough of listening to the people above us stomp around! Especially after the kids go to bed! So far we've been enjoying ourselves going out to lots of fun things around the woodlands. We brought the kids down to the aquarium a few weeks ago, and also to Toy Story 3 On Ice last weekend! Connor is liking his new school (but of course misses The Windmill School!). He talks about his friends from Holland often and misses everyone. Below are a few pictures of the us at the aquarium and the Woodlands waterway arts festival (which was really nice). Connor even got to assist a magician with a magic trick, and he thought that was super cool!
