Our Home Finding Trip to The Hague

I thought that I should put this picture in, since it is probably what everyone thinks of when they think of Holland... So here is the obligatory windmill. Believe it or not, this one actually houses a real estate agent in the bottom now (not ours). Anyway... for those that care, we are moving to Holland, but that happens to be a specific region of The Netherlands. The terms are not interchangeable (as I previously thought). Just a little tidbit of info...

Connor and I took our first plane trip without David to go and meet up with Daddy in The Hague. The plane ride there went fine. We even rented a car in Amsterdam and drove to The Hague (about a 30 minute drive). Above is a picture of Connor at Des Indes hotel in downtown Den Haag, where we stayed. It was probably the most fancy hotel I have ever stayed at. Connor liked the bed...

Mommy liked the bathroom. Here I am showing off my 20 week tummy, and the fancy soap :) I'm such a loser!
We found a nice shopping area where they had a kids H&M. They had tons of 'Cars' stuff there. We couldn't leave without getting Connor a shirt. He wanted to wear it immediately. I'm surprised he has let me keep it in the dirty laundry... I have to wash it so he can wear it again!
And here is the house that we are renting! We saw about 22 houses over the course of 2 days and made a decision the next day. Its a duplex with 3 floors (every house we saw was 3 floors) and LOTS of stairs. It should be interesting getting Connor up to his room on the 3rd floor when I'm 9 months pregnant! We move next week! Can you believe it?
