We are thankful for a healthy baby to be...

Here are our u/s pics from last night (we had an appointment at 7pm on thanksgiving!). Everything looks great. The u/s machine that my doctor uses isn't the greatest, so I know that its hard to tell what you are seeing in these pics... oh well!! We saw 2 arms, 2 legs, a nose... and a nice strong heart. I'm 11.5 weeks. The doctor said that it was too early to tell if it is a boy or girl, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say its a boy... my morning sickness is just too bad! only time will tell!

Here is a shot of the baby's head and neck... see the face at the top there...
Another of the head and neck... I think there may be an arm flailing around near the top...
Here is the shot of the heartbeat and heart...

Okay... this is actually a shot of two legs and a bum... its small... but the two feet are together... it kind of looks like frog legs!

I think this is the best shot... Full body, with legs kicking around
This is the head with a hand up near the face

And this is the last one of the face and body...

Independence

Connor wants to do a lot of things by himself these days... putting on his socks and shoes, locking and unlocking the door with the keys, and eating... here is today's example... yogurt :)

A Little Bit of Halloween in Italy

Well... needless to say, Halloween is not a big thing here. You can find a couple of shops with balloons and decorations... but that's pretty much it. We had gotten a costume for Connor when we were in the states at my parents house. There was a little party at Connor's playgroup, and then we had the neighbors and Connor's friend Ellie over for a little dinner and play time... Connor and Ellie went downstairs to another neighbor's place and knocked on the door and Connor said 'Trick-Treat!'. They gave they some cookies they had around the house! Funny! Here are a couple of pictures. At the playgroup party, Connor only kept his top half of the costume on briefly... but his friend Angus was more than happy to wear it!
