David's Birthday (St Patty's Day)

This week was David's 31st birthday. We had a small celebration at home. Connor had been waiting for about a week to open Dada's presents. We managed to hold him off until the actual birthday! We got David a new nespresso machine and a bunch of capsule to try it out with. Connor thought the fancy box with the capsules was a computer... and he loves to rearrange the colors... The machine works really well. I even tried some, although I don't really drink coffee...





We had some cake (not home made) and I had been trying to teach Connor how to sing happy birthday. He sang it better earlier in the day when we took David out to lunch. But when it came time for the cake, I think he was distracted. He did manage to whisper 'birthday' and 'you'... and then he helped David blow out the candles. I got a little video...

Here are a couple of pics from the last month or so. We are getting ready for our trip to Disneyland Paris on April 4th! We are so excited. Connor asks me every morning if we are going to Mickey-land!! Hopefully we have good weather, and aren't too depressed by the really really expensive prices!

Yesterday was David's birthday. Connor and I got him a Nespresso machine. He seems to really like it. I took some pictures and hopefully will post soon. I tried to teach Connor to sing Happy Birthday. He sang it a little bit, so I will try to post a small video of that too. He mostly just says 'birthday' and 'you' in the right places, but we did hear him sing it on his own once. But of course, I didn't get that one on video :)
