Trip planning!

Oh trip planning, how I love and hate you all at once! Before we moved to Korea, I had already booked our trip to Cebu, Philippines right after the kids get out of school in December.  I negotiated with the hotel, looked for an airline that may have planes that could stay airborne, and worked out the dates, etc...

Now that we are here, there are so many options of where to go... I'm getting overwhelmed each day looking at destinations, dates, hotels, etc.  So far, I've booked a long weekend in Seoul in October...

...but  I have several other destinations in mind for the next 6-9 months!  Hope David has vacation saved up!  Here's what I'm looking at:

Taipei, Taiwan
Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand
Tokyo, Japan (including extra days to visit Disneyland and Universal Harry Potter land!)
Vietnam (cities to be determined)
Hong Kong (not sure on this one)
Beijing, China

I have other places I'd like to go, but the flights are so darn long!!

Choices choices choices!  Where should we go??

Flights booked!

Our flights to Ulsan South Korea have been booked! We will be moving there in mid-august! Looking forward to the adventure, but lots to do before then! We are putting the house up for rent starting next week, still have 2 cars to sell, and we have to inventory every single item in our house and mark whether it is staying in storage or going on the sea shipment. Fun times...

David and I have already been to once a few days ago.  We are headed back there in a couple of days with the kids and we have a 3rd visit scheduled for later in March.  Just can't get enough :)  Here are some photos of the kids dressed up for their Rodeo days at school:

So proud of my soccer star!  He is getting so big, and he looks like a real soccer player out there.  Definitely has the instinct for it.  Don't think he got it from me :)

Okay ladies - i'm going to try out this new personal stylist service... They send you a box of 5 items either monthly, or you schedule the date (as frequently or infrequently as you want).  You answer all sorts of questions about your personal style and then the clothes just show up at your door!  You can keep all, or some...  My first box comes next month... I'll let you know what I think once I get it :)  Here's the link...

Connor's 7th Birthday - Spy Party

This year Connor decided to only invite a handful of friends for his birthday for a sleepover!  Amazingly, it went very well.  David and I planned some games for the kids, and a movie, and they all actually went to sleep in the game room.  Only took them about 20 minutes to fall asleep after lights-out and they came down at 7 for pancakes!  Yay.  Here are some photos :)
