Last weekend we visited the Keukenhof Flower Gardens in Lisse. It was fantastic! Apparently we went at the right time (according to a local) since the bulbs were blooming the best that they will be this year. There were tons of people there, and rightly so, as it was amazing. The gardens had so many flowers, it was hard not to take pictures of everything! Outside the gardens were the bulb fields where the farmers grow the bulbs for sale. They were just vast fields of flowers in rows and rows of different colors. I would recommend that people visit here in late April if you ever get a chance. I don't think you can see anything like it anywhere else on earth! Wow! We were very impressed, as you can tell! Connor really enjoyed himself. He liked to smell all the flowers. It was a lot of walking for a very preggo mommy and a 2 year old (but Connor had a stroller when he wanted it, no stroller for mommy!).

Doesn't the picture below look like a river of flowers! So cool!

This year they are celebrating the 400 year anniversary of Henry Hudson's founding of New Amsterdam (New York). Below is the Statue of Liberty made of flowers!

Here is Mommy looking huge!

I lived in Italy for 2 years. I loved it! Two questions. What kind of camera are you using AND what kind of work to get to travel around to fabulous places!!??
