Connor's 7th Birthday - Spy Party

This year Connor decided to only invite a handful of friends for his birthday for a sleepover!  Amazingly, it went very well.  David and I planned some games for the kids, and a movie, and they all actually went to sleep in the game room.  Only took them about 20 minutes to fall asleep after lights-out and they came down at 7 for pancakes!  Yay.  Here are some photos :)

Ten years...

It's been ten years since our honeymoon (almost)! David and I just returned from a wonderful week in Belize at a fantastic resort (Hamanasi). We went snorkeling, hiking through the jungle, and kayaking. We read books, lounged in the sun, napped, and had some really great meals. We had a great time. We both did miss the kids though :) I will post a couple of pictures soon. I'm using the blogger iPad app that I just downloaded. I'll try to post a couple of pictures, and I'll throw in one of my valentine flowers just because!

My very talented friend wanted to take some pictures of my kids... What an amazing photographer she is.  So far she has sent me 2 photos (below).  Very cute, if I do say so myself!  What do you think?

Rodeo... here we come!

Ah yes, it's that time of year again!  The Houston Rodeo has begun!  We have tickets for next Wednesday and the kids are so excited!  Connor had Go Texan Day at school today and dressed up for the occasion...

I'll add in a picture of Fiona as well.  This was one of the colder days here in Texas, probably only around 40 degrees, but we were chilly... So she wanted to wear her fuzzy hat... such a fashion queen, my little one...

Not much else going on right now.  Kids have been going to school, and my parents have been visiting for the last couple of months.  The kids have loved spending so much time with them, and I have loved having them here to take the kids to and from school and activities :)  Just found out Fiona's dance recital schedule and she's act number 21 for her ballet performance!  Yikes!  Poor girl will have to wait a long time before she has to go on stage!  Hope it's not too hot at the end of May here in Texas.  Last year was brutal!

For some reason, Connor's school took a second round of school pics last month... Here's the photo... We have one from the fall, not sure why they do them twice a year...  Handsome fellow, huh!
