Our trip to Tuscany 2 weekends ago was wonderful! We drove a bit south of Florence and stayed at a villa in the middle of vineyards and olive groves. The countryside was amazing! Just like a painting.The place where we stayed had 2 pools, which Connor couldn't stay away from. I don't think we will ever own a pool. It just seems too dangerous! The kid could not stay away from it! Unfortunately, it was a little too cold to swim, but we still got in twice until Connor started shivering :(
We found this great town called San Gimignano which was about a 1/2 hour drive. It used to have 71 medieval towers, but now only about 15 remain. Still pretty impressive and so quaint. Lots of shops. David bought a wallet and we got a painting.
